Coming out Festival:
Pride Festival: Held once a year in June at Lititz Springs Park!
Transgender Day of Remembrance: Is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) was started in 1999 by transgender advocate Gwendolyn Ann Smith as a vigil to honor the memory of Rita Hester, a transgender woman who was killed in 1998. The vigil commemorated all the transgender people lost to violence since Rita Hester's death, and began an important tradition that has become the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance. Lititz Chooses Love and Lancaster Pride are coming together to do a candlelight vigil on the sidewalks along route 501. We will meet at the entrance to Lititz Springs Park. We want to station as many participants as we have through our town holding posters with the names of those we've lost and candles. We will have a special poster for Robyn and Brayden, the 2 young transgender people we've recently lost in Lancaster County. This will be a silent event, but we're always here if you need to talk Parker@lititzpride.org
Our events are free to attend and also free from transphobia, homophobia, sexism, ableism, xenophobia, fatphobia, ageism, hatefulness or discrimination of any kind. If you do not abide by these rules, you will be warned and/or may be asked to leave.

Aaron's Books: As a community minded bookshop we are happy to support those sharing love with our LGBTQA+ friends, families and community members. Lititz Chooses Love is a local non-profit supporting the LGBTQA+ community by hosting events, starting a center for support and fellowship gathering, and presenting Lititz Pride. In their efforts to create a center that will host gatherings and support our community, they have a wishlist of books to build a library for the LGBTQA+ community and allies. CLICK HERE to buy one of their requested books and we will deliver it to the center. In your order, note if you would like a book plate in honor or in memory of someone recognizing your donation. A portion of each sale of a wishlist book donated to the center will also be donated.
